Dining at The Barrel Inn
Food is available seven days a week, both at lunchtime and in the evenings.
Please note that due to necessary Covid-19 restrictions, however, and until further notice, our menus will be reduced and produced daily.
Food will be served from:
Monday to Saturday -12 noon till 2.00pm and 6.00pm till 8.00pm
Sunday - from 12 noon.
We still offer a menu full of tasty starters, main courses and desserts is to satisfy all appetites.
We serve tasty and fresh sandwiches along with filled jacket potatoes for those looking for a lighter lunch. We also offer a full and comprehensive menu for those wanting a more substantial meal. Our standard menu is accompanied by our Special Board, which details additional meals that we change throughout the month.
We pride ourselves on our menu as we make full use, where possible, of seasonal produce and look to source as much as possible from local Peak District and Derbyshire suppliers.

Much of our meat is supplied from Castlegate Stud Farm, in Stoney Middleton (read more about the farm.)
The bar offers four Real Ales which include Hardy and Hanson, William Clarke (6%) and Marston's Pedigree.
We also have a comprehensive comprehensive wine list which offers wines to suit all palates and preferences.
Our well stocked bar also includes a fine selection of over twenty Scottish, Irish and Welsh malt whiskies, as well as other spirits and soft drinks, catering for all tastes.
